Mother’s Day

Mothers day was a treat, we went to Benihana to celebrate. It was way off my diet in calories and especially sodium, but it was a holiday and it is our family’s favorite place to eat. Most times I keep the diet in mind when eating anywhere, but I decided to just eat anything I wanted. I did skip desert, but I ate everything put in front of me, heh. I figured it would set me back a pound or two, but I’ve been doing good. Did my weigh-in this morning and I still dropped 2 pounds since last week.

I am down 23.4 pounds and 8.54% of body fat since March 10th. Good numbers for 2 months. I am seeing a 2-4 lb drop just about every week. Another couple years and I’ll be back to birth weight! heh.

As of today, I have lost 20 lbs !! March 10th, 2010 is a day I will never forget. I decided I was going to lose weight. Now, less than 2 months later I’m getting it done. Next Fall will be a tough one with my class schedule and fitting in my diet. I have to find foods I can prepare and eat cold. I eat salad often, I don’t want it to become an “only thing possible” meal.
